Alternative medicine spas and medical clinics that provide colonic irrigation have to rely on several different employees to make sure clients get the services that they need. Many colon irrigation clinics employ doctors that can provide information about how diet influences health and wellness, trained technicians to implement the hydro therapy that cleanses the colon, bowels, and intestines, and office workers that help the business operate properly.
Physicians have the highest level of education at the medical clinics that offer hydro cleaning services. Those with medical licenses also have advanced degrees from universities. Consumers, however, should be careful to differentiate between MDs and PhDs. Some people with PhDs will call themselves “doctor” even though they do not have a background in medical science. Just because someone does not have a medical degree does not necessarily mean that the hydro detox therapy that they offer is ineffective, but consumers should meet with properly trained doctors before undergoing any medical procedures.
The hydro therapy technicians at the colon cleaning clinics have usually undergone some level of training. The industry, however, is not well regulated, so the level of training that they get varies from program to program. At the very least, they should know how to use water to detoxify the body. They might also use massage to encourage the water to flush away any unhealthy matter trapped in the stomach or intestines.
Office workers schedule meetings for clients, so that they can get enemas at times that are convenient for them. They should have customer service experience to provide potential clients with the information that they need to understand how the water therapy can compensate for the poor diets that may cause health problems like constipation.
